How To Use Sandpaper To Identify The Wear Resistance Of Laminate Flooring?

The wear resistance of laminate flooring mainly depends on the chemical coating on its surface. When buying, bring a piece of sandpaper, find a sample, and use sandpaper to polish it back and forth 10-20 times. If the pattern of the laminate floor is damaged, it is a substandard laminate floor without a wear-resistant layer.

If it is polished 20 to 40 times, and the pattern of the laminated wood floor is obviously damaged, it belongs to the inferior wear-resistant layer of laminated wood flooring.

Some clues can also be seen through observation. Generally, the laminate flooring with good wear resistance is sprayed with aluminum oxide on the surface of the decorative paper. Put the sample in the sun and see it. If it has a metallic luster and a powdery feel, which is close to the frosted effect, it means that the laminate flooring has Aluminum oxide wear-resistant layer and good wear resistance. If there is a metallic luster but no powdery feel, it may be that the surface is coated with resin, which has poor wear resistance.
